Description
Simlish is a fictional language created by game designer Will Wright for the popular video game series The Sims.
It is a fictional language that sounds like gibberish to most players, but is still expressive and effectively conveys emotions.
When initially developing SimCopter, Will Wright avoided using real-world languages because it allowed players to relate to the characters' emotions rather than words.
Simlish helps create a sense of realism and immersion in the game world. This makes the Sims feel more like real people with their own unique language. Simlish allows players to enjoy the game regardless of their native language. Since it is not a real language, there is no language barrier for players.
While the exact grammar and syntax of Simlish is not yet fully defined, it seems to have its own internal logic and structure.
Despite being made-up, Simlish is surprisingly expressive. Players can easily understand the emotions conveyed by Simlish speech, such as happiness, sadness, anger, and excitement.
That's it, so we created this Simlish Translator, which can convert ordinary language into something similar to the Simlish language. We don't expect it to be accurate, because Simlish itself is fiction. So, it should be fun!
